Dorset web design company, DSM Design designed and built the new Garbuio Dickinson website.

The Brief

Garbuio Dickinson is a global supplier of tobacco manufacturing machinery and primary process equipment. Everything from opening to conditioning, handling and processing tobacco is included in their wide range of equipment and solutions.

Back in march this year we were contacted by Garbuio Dickinson regarding a new corporate image and website re-branding/upgrade. They were looking to enhance their online identity to help generate new business from global markets as well as match the improved corporate ethos.

The key features of the project are:

  • Design and create a new website to bring the brand into the 21st century.
  • Utilise features such as dynamic RSS, news components and a CMS.
  • Easy to navigate and clean design with sound site architecture.
  • Use flash header images to enhance the engagement of users.

The Solution

We worked closely with the client to understand and guide the direction of the project then design and develop a solution that met all of the requirements. We also wanted to develop a website that looked and functioned like a global company should. We added creative features such as colour coded menus on each page. We are also currently working on a multi-lingual component to replicate the website in a variety of different languages.

The Garbuio Dickinson website is built and managed in the Enhance 2 Content Management System which makes it easy to update and manage content for search engine results pages. The website is still evolving as the Enhance 2 CMS releases new and updated components. “We have been very happy with results so far” said Chris from Garbuio Dickinson.

We look forward to continuing the project in the near future.
