DSM Design is one of the leading full-service design agencies in Dorset. Established in March 1986 by Barry Moore, DSM continues to combine creativity, functionality and strategy, which has helped them to remain a market leader in their field.

The company has maintained their skill to infuse applications with vibrancy, but also make them function with a purpose. Barry Moore, founder of DSM Design, commented; “I am extremely proud to have been working within the Dorset business community for the past twenty-four years. It is hard to believe that almost a quarter of a century has passed already; we have all learnt a lot.” He added; “As we are beginning to come to the end of the economic recession, I feel DSM Design has gained a greater respect for all local businesses”.

DSM Design has worked with a variety of clients over the years, most notably Hilton Hotels and Raymond Brown. Each year has brought about new developments and changes to the requirements of the industry and of DSM, most notably being the development of the worldwide web. Looking back, Barry still remembers one of his first jobs as DSM; “We were given a brief to design and produce the emergency plan for BP’s Wytch Farm which was over 200 pages … It’s worlds apart from what we design now; trends in design have moved on so much over the past 25 years. We do still have an original copy of the work in our office somewhere!”

To celebrate their 25th year of trading, DSM have taken another look at their own website. The team firmly believe that you cannot afford to sit still with your image in today’s market, which is why they have re-designed their own site.
